Kingston Brass

Founded in 2016, The Kingston Brass Choir (KBC) is a 10 piece brass ensemble committed to providing audiences with exciting and engaging repertoire that spans a multitude of genres, appealing to music lovers young and old.
Currently under the direction of Neil Barlow, the Kingston Brass is made up of accomplished brass players from across Canada who now reside in the Greater Toronto Area.

Based in Scarborough, Ontario, the Kingston Brass takes it's name from the historic Kingston Road. Originally a post-road for stage coaches, Kingston Road has evolved into a bustling thoroughfare, passing through diverse and exciting communities representative of many Canadian cultures.

True to it's namesake, the Kingston Brass strives to promote a uniquely Canadian experience, offering diverse programs to audiences locally, nationally and internationally, in venues both traditional and unique.
Recently, the Kingston Brass headed south of the border to compete at the 2017 North American Brass Band (NABBA) Championships, where their world premiere performance of a brand new Canadian composition landed them second place in the 10 piece Ensemble category.
